Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the western in an excellent game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager with other players. By wagering against the dealer, new players don’t need to worry about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers winning their $$$$.
A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make hasty choices.
It is also simpler to gamble on for an extended time with only a little bit of cash after all, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the casino is given seven cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
