Ok, that might sound a bit ubsurd, but poker is a game loaded with superstitions. Did you realize that if you are betting a game with 2 different decks and you are asked to choose the deck, you should always pick the deck that’s the furthest away from you? Or, how about If you have a run of terrible cards, you have to sit on a hankerchief to break your bad luck? It’s certainly considered good fortune to blow through a deck of cards when they’re being mixed up.

  • The worst seat has its rear to a fireplace.
  • When shifting seats, you really should constantly do so following the clock.

  • Fri is a awful day for betting on cards.
  • The 13th is also a horrible day, regardless of when it falls.
